Best Road Trips

National Route 40, RN40, Ruta 40 and often just called just "La Cuarenta" - "The 40", is a road in western Argentina, stretching from Cabo Virgenes near Rio Gallegos in Santa Cruz Province in the south to La Quiaca in Jujuy Province in the north, running parallel most of the way, to the Andes mountains. It is considered as one of the world's most epic drives.

Driving down Oregon's wild coastline there is really no reason to rush. There are no major cities and no real hustle or bustle. It is roughly 340 miles or 550kms from Astoria in the north to Brookings where you cross over into California.
