• We had attempted the drive over Beartooth Pass, from Montana into Wyoming, back in October 2014, but were disappointed to have to turn back due to early season heavy snow....not this time though....and what an adventure....!

  • Bighorn Canyon is one of the less visited parks in Wyoming, often overlooked with many peoples focus towards the big ticket items of Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons...they don't know what they are missing!

  • Having conquered Beartooth Pass and the north east entry into Yellowstone....now we want to go to The Grand Tetons National Park via the east entrance into Yellowstone...this involves travelling two scenic highways/byways, named after the two most famous residents of this area.

  • For those of you not so familiar with the opening out of the "Wild West" during the second half of the 19th century, then you may not have appreciated how this amazing character had such an impact on the development of the country....read on...

  • American History, Alive in Stone...

  • Having finally and successfully tackled Beartooth Pass. here was our chance to revisit Yellowstone at the start of the season....entering from the East is a very different prospect than from the north and the south which are the most popular routes.

  • In 1906, Theodore Roosevelt proclaimed Devils Tower as the first "National Monument” in the United States.

  • The title of this travel blog sounds more like some new style country music band maybe....and in true country music style, we just fell head over heels in love with this magical land...

  • Our continued adventures and exploration of this amazing park and the surrounding areas...

  • We had of course visited Wyoming before...but it was a brief skirmish, and the majority of the time had been in the north of the state in Yellowstone on our first roam with Big Henry, back in October 2014. This time we planned to really do some more in depth exploring.

  • We had decided that the best place to test out Big Henry would be Yellowstone Park, Wyoming. The park was in fact the first National Park in the US and holds therefore a very special place in the hearts of all Americans. Over 3 million people visit the park every year.
